Thought Leadership Brings Out the Best in Us - The CREED Way Book

Let us view life’s greater potential from a broader lens. This is the first step in making a difference that withstands the test of time and adds genuine value to others’ lives. This ability (which we all have)  begins with thought leadership.

"Thought leaders are brave; explore areas
others don’t, raise questions others won’t, and
provide insights others can’t.”

Craig Badings and Liz Alexander

As this quote suggests, thought leaders are required to be brave in their exploration of other ideas, raising valid questions and then providing insights that come from those experiences.

You may be wondering what thought leadership has to do with The CREED WAY. The answer is simple: every action we take is based on our thoughts. This means we have an obligation to make our thoughts matter in greater ways than we would without this realization.

We often think of a thought leader as a person in an industry that has made an impact by their innovative ideas or their implementation. It is true that this is a part of the concept of thought leadership. However, it is not the only area where thought leadership can blaze a positive path forward. It can apply to many other areas in life.

Imagine the potential each of us could garner if we formulated thought leadership strategies for all areas of our life. It would surely lead to greater personal successes that leave a lasting impact on our lives, as well as the lives of others.

This type of leadership could have a lasting positive impact that:

  • Is focused on optimism, trust, and clarity, revealing how these traits are relevant in all areas of life.
  • Would help us to cultivate vibrant and meaningful relationships in both our personal and professional lives.
  • Could be our guide in building a career where we make a difference in others’ lives.
  • Will help to promote a sense of community in which we contribute, belong, and work toward the greater good.
This would be wonderful! It is a tall order, yet an achievable one if we all do our part. We can take tangible steps and become self-aware so that we are capable of accomplishing anything we set our minds to. Especially when we have good intentions.

"Focus on the greater good, not just your
personal wellbeing, and you will uncover an
opportunity that inspires and compels you to do
better, to be better on a larger scale."
